Jon Capper FCLA – Executive Loss Adjuster - Director

For 46 years, Jon has been a respected industry leader in the provision of loss adjusting services. He has fostered an unbroken relationship with AICLA having held roles including Qld President and National Board member.

Jon’s expertise focuses on major Commercial and ISR mattes, Business Interruption and Liability Claims. Jon established Pacific Claims in 1995, growing and evolving the business to continue to meet the unique demands of the Insurance industry across Australia and overseas.

Pacific Claims will enjoy its 30-year anniversary in early 2025. Pacific Claims is agile, with a range of specialist skills deployed when an immediate response is required. This includes the recent Australian floods and cyclone events, New Zealand earthquakes, and the Thai floods.

Jon is a Fellow of AICLA, and member of ANZIIF.

Ben Boshier – Senior Loss Adjuster – Victorian State Manager

Ben commenced in the Insurance industry 26 years ago with a leading Insurance provider, rising to the position of Senior Claims Consultant.

He then held a Broking role with a major broking house prior to establishing his own Restoration firm, staying in that industry for five years.

Having garnered broad industry experience, Ben commenced his own Loss Adjusting practice, during which time he developed a strong relationship with Pacific Claims assisting in the response to the aftermath of tropical cyclone Debbie.

Ben has held senior positions in other organisations within the industry, ultimately rejoining Pacific Claims in 2022 as Victorian State Manager. Ben’s areas of expertise include Personal Lines, Commercial, ISR, Major and Complex losses, Strata and Catastrophe Response.

Ben holds a Diploma of Loss Adjusting, is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF and an Affiliate of AICLA.

Tim Capper – Senior Loss Adjuster - National Operations Manager

Tim is a qualified loss adjuster with over 10 years combined experience. His career commenced initially in the fields of Heavy Motor, Machinery and Earth Moving Equipment, whilst achieving qualifications in mechanical engineering.

His role now is focused on Personal Lines, Commercial, ISR, Large and Complex Property Loss, Strata, Rural as well as Catastrophe Management for events across the country including cyclone, hail, flood, fire and earthquake.

Tim leads the technical team, directing operations and resources, and is also involved in ensuring the quality of our specialist skillsets, systems and processes.

Tim believes strongly in the development of the future of Pacific Claims, investing his time with our team to ensure their shared success.

Tim holds a Diploma of Loss Adjusting, is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF and an Affiliate of AICLA.
